Bangor Rugby Football Club Applications invited for Head Coach (Posted Tuesday 5th January 2010)

Bangor RFC is a progressive amateur rugby club whose 1st XV and 2nd XV play in Ulster Qualifying League 1 and Junior League 1 respectively. The Club wishes to appoint a Head Coach for the 2010-11 season to build on the Club’s recent successes and help establish Bangor as a top Qualifying League Club in Ulster domestic rugby over the next two seasons. The successful applicant will coordinate a team responsible for helping to organise, manage and be accountable for the continued development and competitive performance of the senior rugby squad, and in particular that of the 1st XV. Applicants must possess excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills; have a sound knowledge and understanding of the modern game; possess an appropriate IRFU Accredited Coaching Qualification; and preferably have a proven coaching record and played the game at adult level. This is part-time post. Terms and conditions are negotiable.
